Here at Holy Miracle Temple the purpose of our mission the Lord has giving this body is the Ministry of reconciliation according of 2 Corinthians 5:14-19.  For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: till we all come in the unity of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ ( Eph. 4:12 &13) which will cause us to demonstrate a  love of God’s people with the corporate heart reaching out to those who feel unwanted and unloved as well as the hurting of society.

Pastor Maurice Floyd Sr.

Pastor Maurice Floyd Sr. gave his life to God in March 25, 1979 at Montieth Church in Numberger, Germany on the a military Army base.Pastor Floyd was called to the ministry the year of 1979 in Tacoma, Washington under the leadership of James T. Watson. There he also served as an Usher and a Deacon.  Pastor Maurice Sr. received his license to minister in 1980. 

Pastor Floyd was shipped to Germany 1980-1982 by military army.

Within that same year Maurice Floyd Sr. became associate minister to Pastor M Walton of Faith Mission House of Prayer aiding in the order of service; further concluding in the military in Colorado Springs. 

In 1985 he became associate minister to Pastor Louis E Tucker and received Elders license in 1989-served as Sunday School Superintendent and teacher .  In the year of 1989-1992 Maurice Floyd Sr. became the Assistant Pastor to Pastor Louis Tucker at Ascension Church of God in Christ.

Pastor Floyd began working for the United States Postal Service in 1990.  He served as the US Postal Chaplin till 2008.  In 1992, Pastor Floyd served as associate Minister under Charles Williams Jr. and president of the local church YPWW.  He also served as District and Jurisdictional Treasury under Elder M Cranford Jurisdiction President and Elder Bethany District President of the YPWW.

From 1997-2003 he was associate Elder under Pastor William J. Bayless.  Also was one of the adult Sunday School teachers.

In 2003, under the leadership of Pastor William J.Bayless he was called to pastor.  He founded Holy Miracle Temple C.O.G.I.C.  Currently located at 7504 West Florissant, Country Club Hills.  He is the husband of Evangelist Doris A. Floyd and has three adult children and two grandsons.
